When you come from a strong but small European poker nation, it’s a bit easier to fly under the regular radar. Kent Lundmark is such a guy – despite having earned over $2million in tournaments and lifting an EPT title a few years back, he has perhaps never quite gained the recognition which lesser players have.

This completely unexpected win handed him €825,000 ($1,127,604) in only his second year on tour.

'It’s an amazing feeling,” said Lundmark at the time. “This is one of the biggest tournaments you can win in poker.”

He has since hit the final table 9 times, although he has never quite repeated the Barcelona success –managing only three 2nd places from them.

Smaller wins on the EPT have come his way, however, and his 3rd place in last year’s Deauville EPT €10K High-Roller added a further €122,000 ($166,627) to his bankroll, propelling him into the top ten all-time Swedish earners list – a list headed by Martin Jacobsen ($15,045,724) and Chris Bjorin ($5,555,978)

Despite his European tournament successes, Lundmark has never quite broken through overseas, this year seeing only his second cash outside of Europe when he picked up some small change at a minor WSOP event.

A long-time tournament regular in Gothenburg’s Krukan cardroom, Lundmark can sometimes be found at the cash tables, though his preference is tournament play. As a team RedKings player, Lundmark will likely be putting in an appearance at the forthcoming Grand Poker Tour series in Prague, Czech Republic.

When Emmett isn’t spending time with his other half Lala, he can often be found at the poker table, showing off his own considerable talent in the reality show of the card game world that is poker. Emmett’s biggest tournament victory is the 3^rd-place finish he achieved in the Wynn Invitational Event in 2012, where he won $196,300. He has also, however, won over $100,000 in two separate $10,000-entry Aria High Roller events, both of which taking place in October 2019.

While he has easily over half a million in tournament winnings, Emmett is perhaps best at home in a cash game, where his entertaining personality, whip-smart wit, and poker props combine to provide a powerful combination.
